Our story
How Boxall became Thodupuzha's own
Boxall began in 2020 with a simple conviction. A town like Thodupuzha deserves a delivery service built for it and run by people who call it home, not a national app running the same script in every city.
How it grew
From a few shops to the whole town's list
We started with groceries and a handful of nearby shops. Customers kept asking for more, so we added restaurants, meat and fish, cakes, medicines, and a pickup service for everything in between.
We kept ordering flexible on purpose. Not everyone wants an app, so a quick call, a WhatsApp message, or a photo of a handwritten list works just as well.
Why we stayed local
One town, known by name
Bigger apps arrived in towns like ours and left the moment the numbers stopped adding up. We did the opposite, and put down roots.
We know our shops by name and our riders know every road. That is how a small app from Thodupuzha holds its own against companies many times its size.
The people behind it
Started by four of us from here
Boxall was founded by four friends from Thodupuzha: Arun, Rohin, Jai and Ananth. What kept it running every day was the delivery team, the people in red who carried each order to the door.
നമസ്കാരം തൊടുപുഴ“We do it with the town. Something good, everyday.”
Painted across the walls of our first office.
We also remember Amit, who believed in Boxall from the very early days.
